Born in 1901 as Mary Alice Brandon, Alice Cullen is a vampire with the ability of seeing the future. She is noble, kind, optomistic, and compassionate as well stubborn and fashionable. In 1920, after having been institutionalized by her family, an unknown vampire transformed Alice into a vampire to save her from the relentless tracker James. She knows nothing of her past. She has fun by throwing parties and decorating for them, and loves shopping at expensive shops in large malls. Alice, is a very fashionable person, going on massive shopping sprees with the money she helps her family make by predicting the stock markets. Her adoptive sister, Rosalie Hale shares her intense love for fashion. Although Alice and Edward are very close, Edward often playfully calls her annoying. Edward and Alice have learned how to have a sort of mental conversation, and the family rarely notices. Alice foresaw Jasper Hale finding her in a vision before he even knew he was looking for her. Hand and hand they went off in search of the Olympic coven that they would later join. This brought Jasper hope for a new life away from his previous one of creating newborn armies. Their distinctly understanding love is what separates them from other couples, and they are both very protective of each other. Since living with the Cullen’s life has had its share of ups and downs. Alice is extremely close with her brother Edward and they spend most of their time together. She is very interested in the upcoming years now that Edward’s lifelong companion Alex Marseille has finally moved back into town. She had moved away against her will as a child and their relationship suffered massively from this, but like a magnet the two of them could not stay apart. Now it seems that while Edward has Alex back, Alice also has her best friend back. She had always had visions of the two of them together and knew there was a distinct possibility it would happen but knew from her relationship with Jasper that things like that take time. Alice has always been supportive of the relationship between Edward and Alex and has always treated her as if she were already a member of the family.
